About

Keep it in a Frame is a family business, run mainly by myself, Tina Allen, a forty something wife and mum to one son.  I have been making things for most of my life in one form or another, from sewing, cross stitch and card-making, to picture framing and paper crafting.

In 2005, I gained an NVQ level 3 in Business Start up by attending a course specifically aimed at women with a business idea that could be developed on line.  My aim was to start a picture framing business, hence the name “Keep It in a Frame” (My husband chose the name and it conveniently has my own name hidden in it).  I started to make small scrapbook albums using mount board I had left over from framing orders, mainly selling at local craft fairs, and in 2008, I opened my Ebay shop.  I have been selling successfully on Ebay for four years now and am a top rated seller.

I still make picture frames but my time is now mainly spent hand crafting guest books for special occasions and scrapbooks/memory albums.  All of the products on the website are designed and handmade by myself (with a little help from family and friends).

All of the albums are made with great care and attention to detail, using the best quality materials available to me.

A good proportion of my time is spent making bespoke items for customers who have very specific requests regarding design, colours and wording.  If you would like to place an order but don’t see an album that suits you, please contact me with your requirements and we can work out a design together.

Please feel free to email me with any queries that you may have.  Thank you for your time.
